Most people get their homes washed once per year but this could vary based on a few factors. If you prefer to keep your house looking fresh all year long then yearly is a good choice. We also recommend once per year if you are concerned about algae spores and bacteria in the air then getting your siding cleaned yearly is the best option. In some cases you can wait 2 years before having your siding, or home cleaned. It really depends on how much sunlight your house gets and how much shade your siding gets throughout the day.
Services vary anywhere from 2-3 hours on average to all day appointments. This depends on the size, dirtiness, and condition of your property. Every service is also different, a professional in the field with high levels of skill in this area would be able to complete it quicker, but even they may take hours depending on the size. It’s difficult to put a specific time frame on it since there are so many factors that can affect time, such as water pressure, hose nozzle settings, weather conditions, stain intensity and driveway material type.
When pressure washing a driveway, it’s important to use a chemical that will help break up the dirt and grease and make it easier to rinse away. A good choice is a degreasing detergent, which can be found at most home improvement stores.

Be sure to read the instructions carefully, and always test the detergent in an inconspicuous area before using it on the entire driveway. Most degreasing detergents are safe for concrete, but it’s best to check just in case. Also be sure to wear protective gear like goggles and gloves when using any kind of chemical.
